I am a Senior C# Developer for RedStar Creative. I have been working with Darren Ratcliffe since June 2009, when I was made redundant from Idaho Technology. Whilst there I worked with Mike Ryan, Sean Maloney and the team of developers for two years. You can follow RedStar on Twitter or Facebook.

I work with C# and ASP.NET 3.5 and I have worked with the .net framework for about 5 years. Prior to that I worked with ASP, VBScript, PHP and Java, but I haven't done this in the last 5 years. I decided to focus on one language, so I can produce high quality websites using the latest technologies.

I started my career as a full time Web Developer for the New Media Agency Visuality at the time based in Salford Quays working on sites such as JD Sports, Size? and A-Plant Tool Hire. I was responsible for building the websites and developing the CMS and catalogue system.

Recently I have just become a father to Samuel Max Blyth, born 13/05/2010. He currently takes up a lot of my time, but I wouldn't want it any other way!

I have a BSc(Hons) in Internet Computing and I am now in the final stages of completing my MSc in Databases and Web-based Systems in the School of Computing, Science and Engineering at Salford University. More updates on my dissertation project in.venio are available on twitter.
